The Cottage:

Shillalah village was built in 1996 as a Horse Community with overnight rentals. The neighborhood is surround by trees and lovely horse trails that have been converted to ample hiking opportunities. Since then, each cottage was privately sold. Leigh Ann and Johnny purchased Elk Creek Cottage in 2019. Leigh Ann and her Dad, Robert Saylor, spent countless hours remodeling the property to what it is today.

The Hosts:

Johnny is an accountant from Harlan, KY and Leigh Ann was born and raised in Pineville, KY. She retired from the Bell County Health Department, but currently still works there part time. Together they have two grown sons, and one daughter-in-law: Scott, Jared, and Meredith. They currently live a few miles away with their two dogs, Roscoe and Reggie.

When they are not busy working or being guest hosts, Johnny and Leigh Ann enjoy their summers on Norris Lake in Tennessee.
